Quiche Lorraine

1 9-inch deep dish pie crust
12 slices fried bacon
1 cup shredded swiss cheese
1/3 cup minced onion
4 eggs
2 cups heavy cream
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sugar
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

Sprinkle bacon, cheese, and onion in pie shell. Beat eggs lightly, add remaining ingredients.

Pour over mixture in pie crust.

Bake at 425-degrees for 15 minutes.

Reduce oven to 300-degrees and bake an additional 30 minutes.

Let quiche stand 10 minutes before serving.
